Privacy Policy

Effective date: April 30, 2026

iGlobal ("we," "us," "our") operates the iGlobal mobile application and iscp.uedfx.com web app (the "Service") for attendees of iGlobal Forum events. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

You provide directly

  • Account information — name, work email, employer, role, photo, bio, investment focus, and any profile fields you fill in.
  • Event activity — registrations, 1-2-1 meeting requests, deal submissions, messages, and connections.
  • Calendar connections — when you opt in, we use Google or Microsoft OAuth to read free/busy times so meetings can be scheduled. We never read message content.

Collected automatically

  • Device data — device model, OS version, app version, locale, and crash diagnostics needed to keep the app stable.
  • Push tokens — APNs (iOS) or FCM (Android) push tokens to deliver notifications you have enabled.
  • Usage data — pages viewed and feature interactions, used to improve the product. We do not sell this data.

2. How we use information

  • Provide the Service: authentication, networking, scheduling, messaging.
  • Send transactional notifications (meetings, messages, schedule changes).
  • Match you with relevant attendees and deals at the event.
  • Detect abuse and keep the Service secure.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. Service providers we use

We share the minimum information necessary with the following sub-processors to operate the Service:

  • Clerk — authentication and identity (email, name, photo). clerk.com/legal/privacy
  • Supabase — Postgres database and realtime messaging hosted on AWS. supabase.com/privacy
  • Vercel — web app hosting and CDN. vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy
  • Mapbox — venue and accommodation maps. Coarse location only when you load a map view. mapbox.com/legal/privacy
  • Apple Push Notification service (iOS) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (Android) — delivery of push notifications you opt into.
  • Resend / Nodemailer — transactional email delivery.
  • Google Calendar / Microsoft Graph — only when you connect a calendar; used solely for free/busy.

4. Push notifications

You can disable push at any time in iOS Settings → Notifications → iGlobal, in Android system settings, or in the in-app Settings screen. Disabling does not delete your account.

5. Your choices

  • Access & correction — edit your profile in Settings, or email us to request a copy of your data.
  • Account deletion — Settings → Delete account permanently removes your profile, meetings, messages, deal listings, and push subscriptions across all devices. Backups are purged within 30 days.
  • Marketing preferences — adjust in Settings; transactional emails (meeting confirmations, security) cannot be disabled while your account is active.

6. Data retention

We retain account data while your account is active. After deletion, primary copies are removed immediately and encrypted backups are purged within 30 days. Aggregated, de-identified analytics may be retained indefinitely.

7. Security

All traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+). Data at rest is encrypted at the storage layer. Access is gated by per-row policies and role-based access control. We will notify affected users of any confirmed data breach without undue delay.

8. Children

The Service is intended for adult professionals attending iGlobal Forum events. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16.

9. International transfers

We are based in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to processing of your information in the United States.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in-app and by email at least 7 days before they take effect.
